Entering and leaving on different passports

Hey just wondering if im going to run into any issues with this or if theres anything i can now to to avoid issues.
I entered the country on my New Zealand passport with a visitor visa and accidently left on my British passport.

How did you leave on your British passport?

Usually passports are only checked on entry to a country, not on leave.

Where did you showed it on leave? Do you have a stamp? Any record of "leave"?

Had no issues leaving on the different passport they check it at westjet in toronto didnt ask any questions and scanned as entering the gate as usual.

Then you shouldn't worry at all.

Immigration cares about what is in your passport. As long as CIC has in their systems the date you left, the document you used for boarding is not relevant.
