Hi everybody,

I applied for student visa on 4th of June.I have also got medical call. However, today,i was looking to my study permit form(IMM1294E) which I submitted to GIC and noticed that i have entered wrong passport issue date.I have done this mistakenly.

the actual date is : 2013-03-27 however I typed 2003-03-27

What should I do ? Should I email to Visa Office that i have done this mistakenly ? or should I leave it ?

Your opinions and suggestions are requested !

e-mail them!!

I think you have given your passport or photocopy of that so nothing to worry about. They will inform you if your passport does not have any validity.

yeah ..I have submitted my original passport along with forms. I am also thinking that i should not email. but does this create problem when I will land in Canada at airport because they will verify my record from home country Canadian embassy ?

no I do not think so .If it is likely to happen they will not issue visa in the first place.

dont worry Canadian visa officials are not like that of the U.S..
they will col u if there is a problem and will reconfirm the details.
u have given ur original passport to them so it should not be a problem.
ol d best:)
