Good day all,
Please I need the breakdown of all the expenses for the whole process after writing my IELTS.
What are the key point that boost point in the express entry pool apart of the result of IELTS.
Is it important for both principal applicants and the beneficiary to write the IELTS EXAM?
Is it a must to go though agent to assist for the whole process or it is something I can do myself?
Is it a must I have someone living in Canada before applying?

Best regards

- For an approximate breakdown, try this: https://www.justforcanada.com/how-much-would-express-entry-cost.html

- Areas to score/boost points: Sibling in Canada, Education(ECA), Language, Second Language, Work exp (home country), Work exp (Canada), Job offer (NOC 0, A, B), Provincial nomination, Spouse factors (Education, Language, work exp) - https://moving2canada.com/how-to-improve-your-crs-score/

- Only principal applicant needs to write IELTS, but you get few points more if spouse clears it as well - https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...s/language-requirements/language-testing.html

- Not necessary to have someone living in Canada to apply, but siblings in Canada can fetch you some points - https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio.../03/express_entry_improvementsspring2017.html

- One doesn't need an agent, you can do it yourself if you put some effort to find the answers for questions, such as the ones you just asked

Am I going to pay when I want to apply for the pool or am I going to pay after receiving ITA

After getting all my documents ready, applying for the pool, receiving ITA, 90 day to apply etc

Detailed information about how the Express Entry program works is available through the link below:

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ces/immigrate-canada/express-entry/works.html

If you are looking for step by step support in applying then you should consider hiring an immigration lawyer or consultant to help you.

For information about how to score well on the IELTS exam, read through the information in the IELTS section of this forum.

IELTS scores are only one fact. What is your education (ECAs equivalency)? Work experience? Age. Check the link provided and see if you are eligible. Then calculate your CRS score. Want over 470+.
