I am wondering what need to be submitted to CIC after accepting the ONIP nomination. Since a lot of documents haven been sent to ONIP, do we need to send out the same documents again to CIC?

Here is the instruction from the OINP website:

'If your application is approved by Ontario, you will receive a letter from OINP through your MyCIC account notifying you of your nomination. You have 30 days to accept the nomination from Ontario in the Express Entry system.

Nomination from Ontario will give you an additional 600 CRS points and you will receive an invitation to apply for permanent residency from CIC.
Once you receive an invitation to apply from CIC, you have 60 days to apply to CIC for permanent residency.

During the assessment of applications for permanent residency, CIC reviews applicants for admissibility, including health, security, and criminality checks as per Canada’s Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. CIC will also verify all information provided by applicants to register for Express Entry.'

Thank you.

Thank you.

You'll need all the documents that you used to apply to OINP, plus you will need police clearance certificates from all countries that you have lived at, and medical examination reports, carried out by a panel physician.

Thank you for your advice, Arogorn!

May I further ask about the documents? For example the statements, do I need to prepare the most updated bank statements in the future to submit to CIC, as supposedly there would be a time gap between the time I will apply for PR and the time I applied for OINP.

Thank you for your reply! I guess I will have to start preparing such documents for CIC too. The earlier, the better.
