This is regarding the PCC. In the canadian website it is mentioned that we can get the PCC done from our local district police station. Since i am a resident of Siliguri,West Bengal I have already got my PCC from my local police station. I HAVEN'T approached Passport Seva Kendra at all in order to get this. Is this all right?? Or will I have to scrap that and do once again by Passport Seva Kendra. Someone please guide me.

For any citizen of India, it's mandatory to get PCC via PSK. that's the only PCC accepted from Indian citizens. Others may please correct me if I'm wrong.

Apply through the passport website. It's a standard process.

It costs 500 Rs. which is to be paid when booking appointment online and it takes anywhere between 5-10 days. Best time to apply is when you’re absolutely sure you will get an ITA in the next draw. Or you can apply for it after receiving ITA while you’re gathering all the other documents.

Only the original passport and a copy of the first and last page is required if your current address is the same as mentioned in your passport. Otherwise you need proof of your current address if it is different than the one mentioned in your passport.
