I have around 10 + years of experience. My questions is that one gets maximum points while showing only 3 + years. Do you advise that I stick my resume and experience up till the minimum required threshold. The reason why I ask is because the more experience would definitely mean more paper work/ documentation, and that too if had no value in terms of no further score will be almost useless.

thanks.

Well, it partly depends on the program you are applying under. If you are applying under the FSWP you get maximum points for 6 years + of experience under the Six selection factors where you must score a minimum of 67 points to qualify.

The 3 + years max is for the CRS points. Therefore, you must present the minimum amount of work experience that gets you beyond 67 points and the highest number of CRS points. In your case 3-6 years.

Hope this helps.

All the best
