Engaging a consultant - necessary !

Is it necessary to engage a consultant who could process our case.How about if we do it ourselves. Do CIC give extra weight to the applicants who submit through consultants.Thanks

Most of us on the forum are doing it ourselves so no reason why u can not do it yourself
CIC does not give any extra weight to the applicants who submit through consultants.

All the rules regulations requirements are clearly mentioned on cic.gc.ca, thats your starting point and you have all the information that you need to apply yourself

With or without a consultant, CIC will recognize your application normally like everyone else. But it's not bad to have someone guide you through the process step-by-step. Just my 2 cents.

pl note that i have a diff opinion as i am a busy banking professional donot find time to do all the procedures realted to immig. But you need to keep a check on all paper submitted by consultants. also i do agree with forum it does not add any weight to your application nor chc will have a diff view if you apply thro a consultant. also i have found them delaying the matters so yu need to keep a check on them constantly...
