Hey
I'm an American citizen engaged to a Canadian who has a dual citizenship in both Canada and America. We plan living in Canada. I'm a special education teacher, currently working in a middle school in the America. This will be my second year teaching after getting my BA degree in Special/Elementary Education. I would like to work when I move to Canada. What is the best way for me to get my PR? Which country should I get married in, or does it matter? I would prefer to be married in the America, but sources told me that it would be better to be married in Canada, is this true? I would like to be married this upcoming summer. How should I apply? Should I apply for a landed immigration citizenship? I was told that would be the best way. I would work here until all the paperwork is done and have him come here to find a job while my paperwork is going through. He is a contractor and was told Canada would have better work options for him. I'm unsure how to approach this, help!
Thanks!

It doesn't matter where you get married. You will be applying for permanent residency. You don't qualify for citizenship at this time (you need to become a PR first).
