Employment Requirement for NOC 1111

I work as an Accounting Analyst as per duties...

But according to HRSDC...they have employment requirements for NOC 1111. Some consultant told me that you should have Chartered Accountany to apply in this NOC code regardless of the job duties listed...

what does this mean??? Plz advise

I have a Bachelor and Master degree in Business Administration.

That's not true... u don't have to be a CPA or CA to apply.. i work as product control analyst for an investment bank in US... my consultant said .. it's not an issue .. You need at least one year exp in 1111 by job description ..

Hi gtaark,

Like you, I applied to FSW under NOC1111. When I filed the application in December 2009 to Buffalo, I was not a CPA. Before I received the medical form, nobody challenged me about my occupation and the certification. My understanding is that a CPA or CA license will add credits to you but not necessary. Saurav- Plz guide me, how the point calculated for experience? Is it compulsory to have 4 years experience in particular NOC to get the maximum point? Is it necessary 4 years experience must be from 29 NOC list. If i have 2 years exp from sales and 2 years exp as per Noc 1122. how much point will be considered?

Can we still apply under this NOC? I thought this has been removed from the new list that was issued on 26th June. I wanted to send in my application under this NOC too, but I thought I am not eligible anymore....

very sorry to say bt unfortunately NOC 1111 is now been removed from the list. I had applied under this code in Feb 2010. U shud hv finalised ur decision before 26th June.

Yes, NOC 1111 has been removed and nobody can apply under it now, except arranged employment case or work visa.

How can we get employment without legal work status? Most of the employment agencies have responded back saying that I should apply again once I get my PR. Any guidance as to how can we get Arranged Employment? Which employers are hiring foreign nationals? Anyone who has applied for PR under arranged employment?
