Employment letter in TRV application

Is it important to have Salary information on the employment letter while applying for TRV. In my letter, my boss has stated that in case of any additional information, they (TRV ppl) can contact him directly or in the office (numbers provided). So is that sufficient or will I have to get an employment letter with salary information?

Preferably yes but in lieu of that, you can also submit payslips or bank statements reflecting the payroll.
