Hi, I had a question about Employee Letter that's needed for submitting a Study Permit, does my employer need to give me a normal support letter of employment or the letter should be specific and indicate that they are allowing me to go abroad and do my studies? Because most employers don't allow their employees to go away for that long, and mine is one of them. I couldn't find any specific requirements on the IRCC website for this matter.
PS: I already have TRV but planning on getting a study permit for the May intake. Thanks!

I have already told you several times. An employment letter for a study permit when you are resigning and never going back to the employer has no weight. You don't need an employment letter.

But still it is a requirement from IRCC side in order to submit for a study permit!

Thank you for the link, I was told they need such thing to make sure you will return after finishing the studies.
You need to show career progression and how the program will give you a job in your home country but you are quitting your job. Your employment letter doesn’t say you have a job when you finish your studies. Where are you applying from?

That one I can write in the explanation letter. I'm applying from Iraq.
