I am a Canadian citizen residing in Canada and I will be sponsoring my spouse who lives overseas, while I am receiving employment insurance, which I know is OK, however, in the list of document checklist it states in order to sponsor, one of the documents needed is a "letter from my employer".
How can I get a letter from an employer if I am in receipt of employment insurance? Or, do I get a letter from my previous employer stating my period of service, salary and working hours?
