Hello all,

May be a stupid question but I have a worry about my 5 year employment history.

I have been in my career for 2 years now with steady employment however prior to this, I had quite a variety of jobs with various gaps - I know all the dates, employers etc so I have no problems filling in the forms.

Would this be seen as bad when they review this? It was in my late teens during education when I was changing employers etc.

Thanks

Not at all. It's ok to have a short attention span. ;)

Just kidding.

All they care about it seeing where you've been, with no breaks in your timeline.

Thanks for the reply!

That's good to hear. :)

Also I am assuming they only want employer references and evidence from the jobs which are earning me points?

Ah...I guess you're applying via the EE Stream, correct?

If the question asks for employment information, but doesn't elaborate on which type of employers...I'd list any/all for your timeline.

There are many different types of applicants that view this forum, compounded by CIC often using the same generic forms for multiple applications.

I will be going for EE but not submitted anything as of yet - I am trying to gather as much information as I can, so that I can get everything organised for a hopefully, smoother application! :)
