Hi Gulshan,

A lot of us have sent in original documents because it adds to the overall authenticity of the documents. You will get them back anyways after the processing. It is also a good idea to talk to your HR and if possible, get a duplicate made just for this submission. I did this and sent in original duplicates of the offer letter and job description along with the application. You can also use the photocopied documents and can have it attested for reliability.
But keep in mind that if you can afford sending the originals, you should do that.

For employment contracts, notarised copy should be fine.
But reference letters from company should be original.

I hope this helps

You can send notarised copy of Employment Contract/offer letter, but original reference letters from employers, past and present stating clearly periods of time you were in employment with them, the duties you perform(must match with your NOC code) and your salary.
Cheers.
