Hi all, just new in this forum and can't find topic like mine..I am a live-in caregiver and be finishing my 24 months in few months from now,but I have 2 employers and my previous employer didn't give me ROE for 9 months now since they release me,even in my constant pleading to give me..I even call Service canada when I attempt to apply for EI but they only tell me to just submit EI application and state that my employer doesn't give me,and they will call the employers for that, but it didn't make any sense because the EI department send me letter online to submit my ROE..or ask my employer to give me ROE so my EI claims can be processed..and I have new employer/job now,so they deny my EI claims..I thought they will help me,but nonetheless...now I don't know what to do,and where to ask help..does anyone can tell me what to do,or how can I get my ROE from my previous employer?I worked for them for 14 months since Oct.2009-Dec.2010..hope somebody could help me..

Did you try the weblink below:

http://www.servicecanada.gc.ca/eng/ei/employers/roeweb/index.shtml

and

http://www.servicecanada.gc.ca/eng/ei/faq/faq_roe_duplicate.shtml

When you submit your claim for EI there is a portion where you have to fill up the details of what happened...fill this part with as much information possible truthfully and it is here that you NEED TO MENTION that your employer is NOT GIVING you ROE. Service Canada has its own team of investigators and they will investigate the Employer and get the ROE if required from him.
