Hi All,
I have lived in Canada for 6 years now and did my OSSD and then got a engineering undergraduate degree.
I got a open-postgraduate work permit and started working for a company from June last year and expressed my desire to become a PR,
upon which they decided the LMIA was best way to go, and without LMIA I would be just below the threshold for getting picked in Express Entry.
I recently received a positive LMIA which would expire next year.
However, my employers are asking me to resign.
Will this mean that the moment I resign, my LMIA will become invalid?
Can I still go forward with the Express Entry application and later on the PR application once and if I get an ITA?
Thank you very much,
