what is the process if I change jobs in the same country? what forms, and how much grace period they gave for informing office of the change happen?

Drop email immediately to your Visa Office , that you have changed employment , and seek their advise for additional / supporting documents required to update your file with them.

They will require fresh Schedule A form - That is all
