employer change....During Sponsorship evaluation

Hello

Got a question .... I will be able to get a little bit better employment from existing one..
is it fine if i change my employer during sponsorship evaluation at Mississauga.
or shud i stick myself with the present one...
Suggestions from everyone esp. the senior members are much appreciated

does changing the employer make an adverse effect on the processing of the application file or the status of the job like part time, full time , 90 days probation...

As a sponsor you can work for any employer you wish to work for. It has no bearing on the application.

As an applicant, if you have a work visa through LMO, then you are stuck with the same employer until PR application is done. If you have applied for an open work permit during the application, then you are stuck working for the same employer until you get your open work permit approved. Once you get that, you can work for any employer.

I am a permanent resident ...i applied to sponsor my husband....file sent to mississauga,,,

And how i can notify mississuaga officials about the employer change...or shud i wait for the acknowledgment of receipt(AOR) or file number issuance...

You don't even have to do anything. It doesn't affect the process of the PR none whatsoever. CIC doesn't even need to know about your employer change.

thanks for your replies .... just out of curiosity... we fill the sponsorship evaluation (IMM 5481) to sponsor my husband ....gave my employers information and address.....is it possible that they may contact my present employer...

CIC will not contact employers for verification. This is not a job interview you are applying for.

CIC is only interested in whether you have been on welfare or not. This is why they request option c printout. CIC will know if you have been on welfare through that document.
