I was sent an email telling me to check my profile stating that there has been an update. I've checked my profile repeatedly today, nothing has changed. Is this normal? have they sent me a wrong email or just forgotten to update my profile? has this happened to anyone else?? I've sent my documents for PR.

Check the status against each column, if you have already filed your PR application.

Review of eligibility : We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.
Review of additional documents We do not need additional documents.
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made


This is basically what is shown on my page, but it has been exactly like this since I applied. Nothing has changed.

Ah ok, July is too early for PPR. Did your medical pass recently. The update email for medical is delayed by a day or two. That's what you might have got.

Well I have no idea. I did my medical exam a while ago but haven't heard anything from them since. You're probably right. They must have received the results from the hospital. Thank you for all your help :)
 
Give it a day or two to see the update, it doesn't always show up right away.
