Email from Centennial College, Education loan not needed for General study visa

hi,

just got a call from my consultants. They said that they got an email from Centennial college that now education loan is not needed for applying under general study visa but you have to show financials for the visa means money and money only.

Can some one confirms it if this news is true or not?
