Hi,

I have received the ITA in the last draw.
Score: 489

My profile is considered under the Canadian Experience Class. I have got additional points for the Intend to work in Canada Category.

Where,

I have a Valid job offer on a Work permit and which is exempt to LMIA (NOC type A).

My Job offer from the employee is till March 23rd 2018. Once I apply for the PR, the processing time might take more than 5 months. And they have a clause

you have a valid work permit for a NOC 0, A or B job that is exempt from needing an LMIA, and you:

are currently working for an employer specified on the work permit
have one year of full-time work experience (or an equal amount of part-time work) for that employer and
have a valid job offer from that employer for at least one year after we issue your permanent resident visa.


Can anyone please tell me whether to continue with my ITA application of decline?

I think you can put a note that you received ITA in Jan. So that should be fine.

But since my job offer is till March 2018 and they have mentioned the clause:

In my opinion, as you are on ICT, you are already with that company for Full Time Permanent.
Job offer, word by word, may be valid for the LMIA people. As they can be anyone who brought here by local company here from outside canada. In such case it's mandatory.

Again, it's my personal view how I am seeing this.

For IRCC, a "valid job offer" is NOT a previous job offer. It must be a written offer of FUTURE full-time employment "for at least one year after becoming a permanent resident."

So your previous job offer does not "count" for this.

Before you decline, however, I suggest you have a conversation with your manager about this. Do you have an ICT work permit? If so, presumably your employer would be happy to keep you around if you become a permanent resident (no more work permits!!!). If they are willing to write this new letter, you can accept the ITA and apply.
