Eligibility interview got rescheduled

My eligibility got rescheduled. Anyone in the same situation? They updated on the portal and told me I need to attend the eligibility interview on Jan 7th. However on Jan 3rd I received a call from a “no caller Id”. They told me they r from ircc, they have to reschedule my interview because the new COVID restrictions that’s imposed in montreal. They also told me they will update my portal later this week and the new date wont be more than two weeks from the original date.
The original interview should be tmr, they haven’t update the portal yet. I’m just worried that the ppl that called me are scammers but I don’t see why they would scam me with that call. What should I do? Should I go to IRCC tmr just in case?

The officals for government workers like cra or ircc do mentiom there badge number when we call them but i am not sure about if they call they mention it or not.

They usually send written letter or email to communicate.

I called immigration they told me there’s no record of calls. So I went just in case, and they told me I’m on the schedule. However when they finally called my name, the agent was like “I called you to reschedule idk why you still came, my boss is not gonna be happy about this but well youre already here” lol so he just gave me the claimant kit
