eligibility for PR

Hi there,

I have been working for 1.5 years in a software company as a parttime quality analyst.here for the first 6 months I received my pay in the form of paychecks .may I know whether these hours are taken into account for PR or are these hours of no use?
if the paychecks are received, will this be considered as an independent contractor?

You need to get a reference letter from your employer confirming your employment, number of hours you worked for them in a week and how much you were paid on a monthly or yearly basis.

How were you paid (cash/cheque/transfer/bitcoin/food/whatever) is irrelevant.
