Can anyone say approximately how much time is taken by visa officers to review documents and eligibility? This new status has been added 2 days ago.

They took my passport and they gave the eligibility review and background check review pending. What does that mean then?

i think it means they are yet to do the eligibility and background check.

Mine was "We are processing your background check". Today it changed to "Not applicable."
