Hello everyone,

What exactly is ETA? I have completed my 2 years of post grad studies in Canada and am waiting for my 3 years post grad work permit. Currently, I am in India and also my visa has expired so do I need to apply for a visa or an ETA?

Non visa exempt passports who also posses a US permanent residency (i.e. green card holders) need ETA too to visit canada. As Green card holders also do not need a visa to enter Canada.

true but the OP implied coming from India and said nothing about being a US perm resident plus if want to be really complete could alao add ETA only required for boarding a plane not by land.

Any nobody has actually answered the visa question posed by the OP
