Hi there,
I am an Instrumentation & Control engineer (NOC 2133) with about 3 years of experience working with one of the best oil & gas companies in India, with an Indian engineering degree. I am waiting for an ITA under FSW express entry. (will receive as soon as i complete 3 years of engineering experience)
Now, i have gone through plenty of threads/sites referring to EIT procedure for foreign graduates, but I couldn't find any specific timeline / general idea of type of exams i'd be required to write. Also, can i apply for jobs during the time my EIT form is being assessed? (i.e. Before exams are assigned, or before completion of EIT process, or at any stage in-between)
How long does it take to complete the whole EIT process?
And, in general how fruitful is it, for an Indian (or any non-CEAB) engineering graduate to immigrate to Canada?
I have a few relatives, plenty of classmates studying/living in Canada so networking/staying there won't be much of an issue.
