Egypt Visa Office

Hi, is there anything that can be done with regards to the office constantly closing in Egypt? Is it not possible to transper files to another visa office outside of Egypt?

there is nothing you can do as an applicant or a sponsor.

CIC might decide to close completely the VO and they will transfer files to another VO, but that's their call - not yours. They did that last year for Damascus (files got transferred to Ankara for the most part).

You can not ask for your file to be processed somewhere else than the original VO that was selected (either by you in the application or by CIC directly).

Thanks for your reply. I am so frustrated with the lack of concern CIC shows. When I called to inquire they didn't even know the visa office had closed. :'(

my situation its painful more than you

when i got the SA letter they told me my file was sent to Tel-aviv embassy
and i was so happy for that

i contacted the tel-aviv office, to be sure they received my file
they replay to me and said your file transferred to Cairo office !!!!

Big disappointment

I ll apply to cairo office under provincial nominee
I want to ask you lately what is the processing time from cairo
it says in cic website its 11 month is that true or far longer than it ??
please help and answer me asap
