So recently Saskatchewan and other provinces (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island) opened its PNP. The AIPP hasn't announced the full details for selecting candidates and it is a pilot program subject to change anytime. Candidates of AIPP can have low language test scores (CLB 4) and significantly low proof of funds. Its target for the year 2017 is 2000 applicants. Saskatchewan will accept 500 new applications. How long will these programs take? What could possibly its effect to the next draws? Any thoughts?

in the short run, not so much. It takes up to 6 months for the nomination to be granted and hence the extra 600 pts.

So Saskatchewan is open for 'In Demand' only?

I think so. I just read it from the CIC news and when I visited the page, it is closed already. I assume that the program has closed because the slots were immediately filled?
