ITA received but my education details ('WES evaluated equivalent' and 'years of study') are incorrect in the EE profile.
With the correction, my CRS is decreasing but is still above the cutfoff for the round for which I received the ITA.

Should I decline the ITA and apply again, or enter the correct details in the PR details and explain in the LOE?
I'm worried since the error was in crucial fields in the EE profile, and my CRS is being impacted negatively post correction.

If your new CRS is still above the cut off then you can continue with this application.

Hi Maverick28, thanks for the encouraging info. However, I've been told edits in critical CRS impacting fields (in this case education details were incorrect in EE) will likely lead to the officer taking a subjective decision whether I was being disingenuous or not.

My tenure of education, level of education were both incorrectly mentioned in EE. If you could please elaborate on your suggestion, it would do me a world of good!

If your CRS remains above cut off, you are fine.
If you are concerned, write up a brief explanation in your LOE
