Hello everyone, I've really used the search tool but I couldn't gather answers to all my questions. I'd appreciate any insights!

I was living in China and came home to visit. They cancelled my way back to China due to the virus outbreak and as you may know, banks and other institutions are not working or just providing basic services. I will apply for Express Entry to Alberta or Ontario. I'm done with all my documents, except bank statements, which apparently should be made within a week or so of being submitted.

Well, I work online, so I thought I could go ahead and submit a profile to get it all started instead of waiting for this whole virus situation to get better. Here's my situation and my questions:

  1. I have enough money for POF in China, but there's no way I will get a formal bank statement for God knows how long or even a desktop screenshot because I'm abroad and their website doesn't allow me to do it internationally. (Question: Would a phone screenshot with my picture on the app, account number and a photo of my card along with a letter explaining the situation work?)
  2. I work remotely and have contracts and business certificate already translated to upload, which should mean I would be able to prove some steady income and even have it sent to a Canadian bank account before I apply (if RBS approves my online request in a week or so). (Q: Would that help my case in any way?) I also thought of sending my Chinese money to my Canadian bank account, but that could take a while and great effort since I'm not there.
  3. Back home, I have a cousin who basically raised me and has a very successful business now. (Q: On top of all those other things, could a notarized letter saying he could be my financial supporter (if needed) and his bank statements help?)
  4. I have some friends and projects waiting for me. They can't sponsor me or give a job offer, but once I'm there I'm sure I would be able to work and sustain myself not only for the current job I have and will keep doing there, but also because of potential projects. I know speculation doesn't work with CIC, but (Q: do you guys think that screenshots of the job offers and people saying they're willing to work with me would help?)

I'm sorry for the crazy long questions. I really want and need to get it right as soon as possible otherwise I'd have to establish myself back home in order to keep working and that would cost me lots of money and probably get me stuck here at least for one more year.

Thanks a lot!!

1. Screenshots are easily faked, so little chance of IRCC accepting it.

2. No.

3. No.

@canuck_in_uk , thanks for your reply! Based on your experience, would you recommend anything that could be done to avoid getting the money from China to another country and then to Canada ( I don't want to pay too many fees and abusive exchange rates twice).

Have a good one!

I'm not sure, sorry.
