Hi forum members,

I am looking for an advice here. I have filled my application under CEC with NOC B level job (NOC 6211) as sales supervisor about 3 months ago.
Last week I asked my manager to relieve me off duties and give me a position with less responsibilities if available. Its because I am volunteering at a hospital and studying for USMLE plus school applications, so I dont have time needed for higher skill level job now. He gave me a position of cashier, which is skill level C and a pay cut, which is obvious.
I want to ask if any of this will have any impact on my under review application?

Thanks

As long as you have a minimum of 12 month of full time experience in NOC 0, A or B to use for your EE profile, your current job is not an issue.

What if they called to confirm my position for PR and my manager screwed up and confused them. Should i just quit rather than taking up lower skill job with same employer?

Since your application could still take a while to process, I assume you still depend on your income, right?

it might be easier to just tell your employer about it to avoid confusion. Seems like a much easier solution than having to go without an income, possibly for months until your application is finished.

How long did you work for the company in NOC B job?
