Hi Friends,

I submitted my EE profile, which got rejected and is Ineligible now. Could you please tell if it could be due to my Work History which I mentioned as below.

I am using NOC 2281.

1. Dec 2016 - Current
2. July 2014 - Nov 2016
3. Sep 2011 - July 2014
4. Feb 2010 - Dec 2010. (Only 10 months and then gap of 8th months between 1st and 2nd job. During this period I was doing freelancing and was receiving money on my back account)

I am thinking this is due to my 1st Job which was of 10 months and then there was 8 months gap. Can I show my freelancing work also?

Please help and tell can I skip my first job and directly start from 2nd and what should be the order of posting work history.

Also what date should I put in "Date first became qualified to practice in this occupation" as If I skip my 1st job and start from 2nd.

Thanks in advance.

I am yet to enter the pool. I have a break between my NOC due to going back to school. However, my first experience was over a year so the break is acceptable according to the advise given to me. Can you try deleting the Feb 2010 to Dec 2010 and claim points from Sept 2011 onwards?

Thanks, I am also thinking same.. Earlier I though it was due to funds. I mentioned fund for 1 (myself) as I am applying alone but, mentioned 3 family members.

The required funds must be enough for your entire family, even if they are not coming with you to Canada:

"Unless you are currently authorized to work in Canada and have a valid job offer from an employer in Canada, or you have been invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class, you must show that you have enough money to support yourself and your family after you get to Canada.

You cannot borrow this money from another person. You must be able to use this money to pay the costs of living for your family (even if they are not coming with you)" - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

Thanks. I read that carefully now.

How many years of work experience did you claim?
on first application inhave written all the above. Second not submitted, waiting for advice from you guys.

Agree entry the funds issue. If you declared 2 dependents in your application but calculated funds for one applicant only then that is the reason it is ineligible. However it might not be their only reason, in you claimed experience for 3 years for example but your dates don't match to that then that would be another reason.

Thanks all. It worked by just modifying funds.
