Hi. I am new to this forum, and it's good to learn that there are so much helpful information for preparing for EE.
I graduated from a 4-year university with a bachelor's degree in the U.S., but I would need more CRS points. So I decided to try an admission from the UBC's Diploma in Accounting program.
I am planning to start the program in May 10, if I get accepted, with the classes that are run online due to COVID-19 as of now.
1) I think we are not certain how IRCC will decide on the PGWP eligibility for courses that are forced to run online for the time being after April 30. Am I correct? Do I need to move to Vancouver before the program start in order to get approved for PGWP or EE Canadian Education CRS points?
2) If I finish this program within 8 academic months as a full-time student with 60%+ coursework load, will it count toward EE calculation even if, in sum, it will constitute less than 8 calendar months or 240 days? There will be no long breaks between sessions (There are four sessions, two two-month summer sessions and one four-month winter session)
3) Also, is this program more like 1-2 year post-secondary program in Canada for 15 additional points or an eligible credential from a university-level program at the master's level or at the level of an entry-to-practice professional degree for occupation from NOC Skill A? This program is a post-bachelor program that requires a bachelor's degree.
Thanks a lot!
