You will find dozens of threads if you actually ran a search (which you should!).

You must create a new profile, but I would advise you to figure out why you're ineligible first.

Common problems include:

- not having enough funds
- no ECA for Foreign education
- not having 67 out of 100 points for FSW

Unless you give more information, hard to say what your specific situation is.

thanks for the reply

i already have ECA done
my score is 70+ as per cic mentioned criteria
funds also are as per requirement of cic on their website

How can i know exact reason so that I get it corrected?

Provide a breakdown of 70+ here.

What is your Primary NOC? And how much work experience do you have in that NOC?

Primary NOC is 4011 (lecturer) and i have 8 years experience in it.

Breakdown of points? And hope you are providing settlement funds keeping in mind any and all dependents that you have as part of the application.

Found this information on the link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1007&top=29

What do you mean by Primary Occupation?

Your primary occupation means the job you have experience in (within the last five years) and want to base your immigration application on, if you are invited to apply.

My NOC since last 4 years is 4031 (Secondary teacher)
and before that for 7 years experience is 4011 (lecturer)

In my primary NOC i mentioned 4011. Can that be the reason for ineligible status?

That is probably incorrect or incorrectly referenced.

For FSW eligibility, you get maximum points for 6+ years of work experience in your Primary NOC (and that clearly cannot be done in less than 5 years). For CRS points under EE, you can claim work experience gained within the last 10 years.

Again, do you want to provide a breakdown of how you get to 70+ points? I do enjoy meandering Q&A sessions with no apparent purpose/destination (on Quora and offline) but you'll probably benefit much more from specific suggestions which have relevance to your particular situation. Your call.

OP, if your funds are under the requirement by just a few dollars, then your profile is ineligible. Please confirm if you are entering the correct required amount according to the number of people in the application:
