I suggest leaving Quebec after ITA and before submitting application.

I had a friend who got rejected because he stayed in Quebec while application was in process. They are very strict about it because a lot of people took advantage of the system in the past - show intentions to leave Quebec but end up staying. They won't take your words for it.

actually im in kingston Ontario now BUT MY HOLE EXPERIENCE was in montreal ( work and university) , but im just curious how they found he was living in Quebec did he put his addres from Quebec in his application or he was under LMIA with employer from Quebec .....what was the exact explanation of the agent rejecting his application ? could you share the information ?

Schedule A. If you're working and living in Quebec you have to declare it. For lying you get banned for 5 years.

Your whole experience and education being in Quebec makes it harder for you to convince CIC. The only way you can convince them that you have left for good is leaving Quebec asap and get a job somewhere else.

Regarding cic it's OK if you want to apply from Quebec as soon as you have the *intention* to reside in an other province *after* getting the pr. Approved.

In my case I already moved with a new address and got an inscription in a school in Ottawa .....saying this cause you have to prove your ties with the province you r going to . It doesn't matter if you were living in Quebec , some people living in Alberta but they did their master degree in Quebec and they were asked to provide a letter of intention . , personally I have the screen shot of one person who got refused because au Quebec but the reason was so obvious ,,,,,she was in the us Seattle the applied for THE PROVINCE BC during the process she got a locked work permit with lmia from Quebec employer and she moved to Montreal ...result rejection cause she provided the pays tubs and info about the new employer.
For me this is a good reason and not because you lived in Quebec ....Ontario is like 45min from Quebec so it's easy to go .
Anyway in this topic please if anyone got any info share it with us with some accurate details and the exact reason of rejection as mentioned by the agent.
