EE application: Country of residency

Hi
I have an active EE profile, qualified for the FSWP and waiting for future draw.

I am currently living in Canada with a work permit and am an international student in the United States (studying remotely since last year).
What should I refer as my country of residency, Canada or United States? I was in the United States when I opened my profile.

Strategically, are there pros and cons for referring one of those?
