Dear experts,

for my work experience in the EE, i had mentioned my complete work experience as a single line item as the company that i work for has not changed, based on which i received the ITA. Now when i have to submit my documents, i realized that i should be mentioning my different designations as separate line items. During my entire experience my NOC has not changed.

Please advise if this will create any issues for my application.

the designations should be mentioned in the reference letter if i'm not mistaken not within the application

Dear Team,
Good day

I have 4 years of work experience as Senior Software Engineer / Senior Analyst (NOC 2171/2282 - I am not pretty sure) and CLB8 in IELTS. My CRS score is 379. Do I have any chance of getting ITA or should I accelerate IELTS score to CLB 9 for getting ITA?

Please advise. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, a score of 379 is unlikely to secure you an ITA at this time :(. The lowest CRS we've seen in a draw this year is 413, and generally it's been hovering around 435 for the past few draws. You're much better off trying to increase your IELTS Scores if you can, or trying to secure a provincial nomination to add a further 600 points to your score.

CLB 9 is your goal, retake the IELTS you didn't score that bad so a retake can do wonders

Yes preethi, retaking the IELTS would be your best bet. Else you can also look into the PNP options available. Good luck.

Thanks for the response, both in the EE and application they ask for the designation.

the issue that i have is that in the EE i mentioned 4 years and mentioned my current designation. In the application am i required to mention each designation separately, i.e.
1 year as X
2 years as Y
1 year as the current position.

Will this be considered as a mismatch and create issues. the experience duration has not changed and the NOC has also not changed.

Please advise.

thanks, just to be clear i should mention 4 years of experience with current designation and then in the reference letter mention the various designations i have held during the 4 years instead of creating a separate line for each designation.

there will be one upload field per line of job. So if you mention 4 lines you'll get 4 upload fields. Better leave them in on and elaborate on it in the reference letter
