Hello everyone,

Hope all are safe and healthy!

I need to know something about student visa. I know that there's no any age range to do a degree in Canada.

But my problem is I completed my secondary school before 7 years and I followed certification course at technical college then started to working. My highest educational level is secondary education. Therefore I feel that I need to extend my qualifications so I decided to do a degree.

Since I am working as a drafting technologist I 9decided to do diploma in design and Drafting technology, duration is 2 years. There is no such a degree for drafting technology. But some people tells me that if I have education gap I must do a degree in high duration. Therefore I came up with an idea to do degree in anthropology, duration is 4 years. Since I'm really good at it.

So does that education gap will be a problem to me when they giving visa for me? I mean should I follow big duration degree like 4,6 years? If I follow 2 years program does it will be a problem? If it is a problem can I go to second option is it a wise choice?

Please help me to sort this out!!

Thanks in advance!

Education gap is not an issue. You just need to show why taking an Anthropology in Canada will help with employment opportunities in your home country. Plus you need to show funds.
