Educational Course while on Visitor Status

Hi,

My wife is currently on visitor status. (I am on work permit and we have received ITA for PR).
She wants to do a short course on medical sonography. It's <6months duration. It is not govt approved or designated by province are anything.
Does she need a study permit for it? Course director himself said it's not the requirement from his end.

Ok…earlier you said she was on a work permit and now she is on a visitor visa. What is the truth?

Hey @Naturgrl, I am not trying to lie or giving false information here. These are her details. We are here for last 3 years (I am on work permit). She was initially on the OPW for 1 year and then on Visitor record till May 2021. We recently got a new OPW. As I mentioned above, we have received ITA as well. I decided to repost question here, considering it might be a slightly better group to look for this answer.
