Hi guys,

I've received a request for an additional document "Schedule A Background/Declaration" from CIC today and am supposed to submit within 7 days. I'm a little confused about this field in the Education section:

"Give the number of years of school you successfully completed for each of the following levels of education:

Elementary/Primary school - ______
Secondary/High school - ______
University/College - ______
Trade school/Post-secondary school - ______
"

My education is as follows: Indian 10 + 2 + 3 (BCom) + 2 (MCom) + 2 (Master of Management from Canada)

What numbers should I fill up for the above 4 categories?

Also, the next section asks for all details of "Secondary and post-secondary education". Which ones should I include/exclude from the above?

Any help is highly appreciated.

What did you list as education history in your eApr?

That question regarding numbers was not asked in eApr. There was only a list to be filled out. I had only mentioned the 2 year Master of Management degree of Canada in that form as I was claiming points only for that. But this form specifically asks for more.

Is there a way to retrieve the eApr to make sure I don't mismatch that info with the info in Schedule A? Because I had put in some rough estimates for start/end dates in certain sections (including personal history) as I was not 100% sure.

Actually, do I really need to fill all this all over again or just fill the statutory question details? Their request letter states:

"...., we require the following documents:

> Schedule A: A separate and newly completed Schedule A bearing original signature. You have answered Yes to one or more of the statutory questions. Please complete the detail section for the statutory questions you answered yes to"

Did you say yes to any stat question? Did you examine them originally?

Yes, I answered yes to "Were you denied permit/entry/etc. to Canada or any other country in the past?"

Did you explain the situation in full?

I am doing that right now in the Schedule A form. But there are other things I'm confused about, for example, the Education section query above, and also the Personal History section. I am unable to retrieve the "Personal history" info in my account under "View submitted application" so how do I make sure I don't input mismatching info in Schedule A?

You can't see what you put there at submission unfortunately.

Is the letter only asking you to explain your stat questions again? If so I get the impression you might not have put in enough detail in the stat questions at eApr?

Yes, but it also says "a separate and newly completed Schedule A" so I'm not sure if I need to fill it in entirety or just the stat question details.

And I don't remember about stat question details in eApr... I think there was no or very little space to explain the details.

There's definitely space... Plus your LOE to explain it.

Either way the letter you got should ask you to just complete certain areas of the app, as far as I'm aware.

Is it okay if I fill out everything just to be safe?

This is what I wrote:

Primary: 8 (grade 1 to 8)
Sec/high school: 4 (grade9 to 12)
Uni: 8=4 years BS and two masters 2 years each
Trade: 0

In the table, I mentioned from my secondary school onwards (grade 9-10) onwards.

Are you from India? If so, shouldn't it be 10+2 instead of 8+4?

In Pakistan, secondary school cert is grade 9 and 10 and high school cert is grade 11 and 12 and the second option is asking for secondary/high school.

I assume it should not be a problem if you vary it slightly (such as 10 and 2) depending on how schooling works in your city.

Don't forget to mention your logic in the LOE
