Education points.... Private Student

I have a question regarding educational points for those who completed their study as a private student. They sat for exam under some Education Board and University but studied at home or through distant learning. for example Matric as Private student or B.A. as a private student in Pakistan.
Do such applicants get full points for education?
One of my friend from Pakistan got ZEro for his Private Matirc.
any suggestion/?

I don't understand why your friend got zero. I guess it kind of sets the precedent for such a case.

However, people do home schooling all the time. Also OP6 says distance learning degrees can get points if they are recognized.
