Education Points Clarification

Helle All,

Can any senior ppl advice me how much points i will get for my education please.

12 years of school (india)
3 years of under graduation (India)
1 year masters degree (UK)
1 years of PG diploma, Pg Diploma in Information techonology (uk)
1 years of Pg diploma, Pg Diploma in Computer Application(uk)
1 year of diploma, advance diploma in finance (uk)

Really Important as i have to apply by this week please.

your help will be much appreciated.

25 points altogether.
even if u have 10 Master level degrees of full time education, you'll get 25

more importantly, even if you have had an m. phil degree, you'll get 25 points for sure

util and unless you have the next level of qualification ie ph.d.

many of my friends' cases were rejected as they were m. phil and considering their education points to be more than 25. be alarmed...pl

Thanks for your kind reply.

But i have finished those Pg diplomas after my 1 year master degree, will it still count as 25 points.

As i though i would gain 22 points, as these Pg diplomas wont be considered simply because it was done after MBA.

Would appreciate your help again.

Subsection 78(3) of the IRPR provides that points are to be awarded on the basis of the single
educational credential that results in the highest number of points. For example, an applicant with a
master’s degree that was completed after 16 years of education, and who spends an additional year in
school after obtaining it would be awarded 22 points. That the applicant spent an additional year in
school does not turn a 16 year master’s degree into a 17 year master’s degree and would not result in
being awarded 25 points.
