Hello
about education point
I have done 8 year elementary school
4 year high school and 3 year university (bachelor degree), together 15
how many point I have now 20 or 25

and
plus a have been last year in Toronto for 1 month at University of Toronto, I have completed TOEFL iBT Preparation Course
I want to know I can take any point for this

You will get 22 points.

For your month study, none will be given for this.

I am not sure you will get 22 points with just ONE BACHELOR DEGREE according to the CIC Guide:

Two or more university degrees at the Bachelor’s level AND at least 15 years of full-time or full-time equivalent study 22
A three-year diploma, trade certificate or apprenticeship AND at least 15 years of full-time or full-time equivalent study 22
A university degree of two years or more at the Bachelor’s level, AND at least 14 years of full-time or full-time equivalent study 20

Yes, true Pippin is correct. My apologies.

It has to be two bachelor degrees to get 22 points.

I checked the OP06, p31 and it seconds Pippin and clearly states:
Three year post-secondary educational credential, other than a university educational credential, and at least 15 years of completed full-time or full-time equivalent studies = 22 points

Hi thnx for answer
I have together 60 or 62 point :)
I want to apply as skilled worker, can I win permanent resident.
What do you think?!

Minimum is 67, try to get more points from language. They are going to change the rule soon adding more points on age and language. Prepare and get ready to the next round!!

Agreed. You need to make it up to 67, either through language (English, French), get a job offer so you gain 10 points... Try PNP programs as well like quebec.

Hi senior plze have your say on the following issue
My friend received 2n aor dated 08/03/2011 from london vo,now his ecas status is showing IN PROCESS since 18/03/2011,
But i seriously doubted on his Qualification Points as he MA(16 yrs)+Bed(1 yr from AIOU)+TEFL diploma(1 yr)
IELTS points W=6.5.S=6.5,R=5.5,L=5.5 O.ALL=6 BAND,SPOUSE=GRADUATE(BUT NOT ACCOMPANYING TO CANADA),AGE=33,EXP=8 YRS
no other factors like canadian relative or education from canada,
My question is if his points are not 67 how can his status changed to IN PROCESS
plze guide

In case he has less than 67 points than he will get rejected during later stages after the "in process"

Which is crazy. Here in the UK bachelor's degrees are 3 year courses, and diploma (High National Diploma = HND) is only 2 years. You can convert some HNDs into bachelor's degrees by doing one more year's study.

So if you have a diploma you get 22 points, but by doing an extra year and converting into a bachelor's degree you get only 20 points?

Madness! :)

Wayne.

i am so surprised that how his status can change so quickly to IN PROCESS when his points r lacking to be 67, but one thing seems that May be his Bed is counted as 2nd Bachelor degree (BA was his first bachelor degree) by getting two bachelor degrees he might have scored 22,and then from MA 25,
what do u say
