Your gap would not be a problem in job search. If you are skilled and effecient, companies will hire you right away. I would recommend mastering the field or market that you are taregeting. All the best :)

Getting a Canadian degree will help you find a job more than having Indian work experience... the gap itself does not matter.

I have seen a lot of people changing streams and doing perfectly fine. I think u chose the best stream as Computer science is in high demand. However, you will need to focus and build your base strong as it is completely new for you.

You do not have to pass eligibility as such. All you need is good score in ielts and a leeter explaining why you are changing field. What efforts have you taken to learn something new. And also include why you will return back to your home country after studies

No problem at all. I am just trying to help as much as i can :) I was an international student so i am not sure about PR holders. I am sure you do not need any assessments or verification for transcripts. However, I would recommend trying to contact university directly for some guidance. They generally provide free consultation :)

some jobs do require your degree to be evaluated with accordance to equivalency to Canadian degree.. there is no harm in getting your degree evaluated to have more worth to it.
