Disclaimer: Although this topic has been discussed several times on this forum, I am still not able to get a clear cut answer to my question. Would really appreciate if someone can help.

My husband (primary applicant) has masters degree and PhD from the US. Does he need to have his bachelor's degree from India evaluated for Canadian express entry/ immigration?

Thanks!

Hey,

It depends on the requirements of Canadian institute you are using for equivalency.

My sister in law had a similar profile and she did her equivalency through WES. She just had to ask her University in America to send her PHd transcript and certificate to WES and it worked fine for her.

So if you are going through WES, you do not need to send bachelors or masters. It is just PHd they would need for assessment.

Hope this helps!

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply.
I got both his master's as well as PhD verified by WES.
We received full points for his education when we submitted our EE profile.
