I am planning to apply for the no job offer stream of the federal economic mobility pathways pilot (EMPP) program, I want to know if I can include my parents in my application. Anyone has experience about this?

Unfortunately you cannot. They are not classified as dependents.

Good evening everyone.

I have a relative. She is a refugee registered with UN. She is a university graduate (IT) with very good English skills and 2 years work experience. She has been a refugee outside her country for 11 years. Is she entitled under this program? She does not have a job offer from inside Canada. She has the financial resources required for this program. She cannot apply through express entry or other regular immigration because she does not have a passport.

Is there a good chance for her if she applies through this program?
How long will it take to complete the whole process?

If she is eligible and meets requirements and has all documentation ready, she can apply. Only about 150 are selected per year. IRCC may even select based on in demand NOCs, we don’t know. As for process, they say 6 months. All on the site.

It's for no job offer stream. The representatives form needs to add office name. It says top of the paper
