Ecas? When can i log in?

hi

I just sent in my application (outland) April 2nd 2013 and it was received by the Mississauga processing center on April 3rd at 4:00pm.

when can i start checking my application status online? i tried to log in with my receipt number but they said they didn't have me on file.

how long did it take you guys to be able to check your ecas?

When/if you receive AOR (acknowledgement of receipt) or sponsor approval, you will have a file number/application number. With that number and your personal details ecas will work. It took 18 for AOR and 23 days for SA.

It then took about 3 days after AOR for the system to recognize me.

You must wait. Your files just arrived! They will process it soon but it cannot happen overnight!
Normally you will receive notification AOR in about 10-15 days and then after AOR it takes another 10-15 days for SA
Sometimes they will not even send you an AOR and go straight to an SA

You must learn to be patient. Its a waste of your energy to worry in such an early stage
