Ecas is yet to update my status

I submitted my initial application to Canada last year August and by Dec 23rd 2009 I was given the 120days and my status read ''visa office eligibility review complete''.
I submitted my documents to the visa office April 8th,2010 .

I have neither received any acknowledge mail nor an update in ecas status. :-\

I believe there is error in your post because we are still in March and your post is reading August doc send to visa office
