you could, not sure if they'd take that into account in their processing or if it would be business as usual until you actually do get married... (technically nothing about your status has changed until you get married)...
you are free to submit passport and collect visa if requested, as long as you do not land with that visa as it is issued with your status as "single", and the visa doesn't expire, you should be okay to still change the application and add a spouse... you'd just relinquish the visa with your husband's application when you have that prepared, they will cancel your visa and and re-issue when the spousal application is completed...
the key is to not land, that's when the process becomes finite... until the day you land (or the day the visa expires), you do have the right to make changes (and the visa office has the right to process those changes
according to the rules for they apply)...
should be an interesting case to process as it sounds like it might involve two different visa offices, may want to inquire to CIC around the logistics of the applicaiton and if there is anything special you should be doing.... it could add a layer of complexity to the mix...
