ECAS changed into "in process" without Medical Request, is that normal?

Hello all,

I am an August 9 2013 applicant! My ECAS changed into in process last night, saying that
”We started processing your application on March 31, 2014.“

However, until now I havnt received any MR yet. Been checking my Email and spam folder frequently, no sign of MR！

Anyone can advise on this? Is this normal? Should I contact CIC about this or just wait a lil bit longer? :
quite confused and frustrated now

They just started working on ur application. You should wait..may be MR is on the way

You might receive it tonight. In my case I received the MR on Friday late night and status changed to 'in process' on Monday morning. Yours might be the other way

Yes I did. Refreshing my inbox and spam folder fairly frequently!

Keep them clean and tidy for my MR to come

Yes - it's normal

In Process doesn't automatically means MR request will come right away

I am an August 23 2013 applicant. My ECAS changed into in process just now, saying that ”We started processing your application on on April 4, 2014.“

However, I have not received MR yet.

Now its been a week without receiving MR since ECAS change. I contact cpc-o via Email but no response...

Anyone has or had the same situation? ???

When I got a call from CIC, they said to wait for a bunch of emails to come-in within the next 2-3 weeks.

you are waiting for MR as well? so CIC called you and told you that bunch of emails are coming in within 2-3 weeks? did they mention those emails would be for MRs?

The MR has something to the effect that: your processing is at a stage where Medical Exams are required. Maybe yours hasn't reached that point yet (e.g. document verification/background/security/etc). In process doesn't automatically mean MR is immediately sent.
